Hand-made greeting card based on my original 2014 acrylic painting Atabey Karaya which now hangs at CucubaNación, my Mayaguez artspace. A fusion of Atabey and Yemaya, it was the last painting I made in New York before my move to Borikén, a meditation on rematriation and my own rebirth.

Yasmin Hernandez is a Brooklyn-born and raised artist whose work is centered on liberation themes. She rematriated to her ancestral homeland of Borikén in 2014, where she is still based.
