Yasmin Hernandez’ creative practice combines art, writing, education, spirituality and activism into a liberation praxis.  Born and raised in Brooklyn to parents from Ponce, Puerto Rico, the land of Yasmin's ancestors has informed much of the content of her work.  She rematriated to her ancestral womb in 2014.  Based in northwestern Borikén (main island of Puerto Rico) she is committed to staying, learning and embodying the liberatory essence of her ancestors, while contributing to an ever-unfolding, transcendent, cross-charco consciousness.
