Bieké: 2007-Present
Installations related to my on-going work on Vieques and its continued struggle for peace and justice after 60 years of US Navy weapons practice and maneuvers.

ALTARS, 1999-PRESENT
Channeling my upbringing, particularly the spiritual practices I was raised with, my explorations with installations having always centered on altar-making.

Ponce Massacre, 2007

Taller Puertorriqueño, Inc. Philadelphia, PA. This is a recreation of my Ponce Massacre installation of 1997. The Ponce Massacre took place in Ponce, Puerto Rico, my parents' hometown. The US colonial police chief revoked a parade permit on Palm Sunday commemorating the abolition of slavery. When the people marched anyway, the police opened fire on them killed 21 and wounding around 200.
